Our Chardonnay is grown in Monterey County with its cool coastal climate and sea breezes. The wine making is all done at Tobin James Cellars.
Our Radiance Chardonnay is aged partially in neutral oak barrels and stainless-steel tanks creating a light bodied wine that is crisp and bright. The neutral oak does not give off the oaky or buttery characteristics prevalent in our James Gang Reserve Chardonnay.
Cooler climate Chardonnay grapes tend to express more citrus notes, acidity, and minerality with lighter body. This wine has zippy zesty Meyer lemon and citrus blossom flavors. It is elegant, light, and lean.
Food Pairings: Pairs well with oysters, sushi, and ceviche. Try with chicken piccata sautéed in sauce of butter, lemon, and capers. Pan roast your favorite white fish with herbs and butter. Yummy with Brie cheese!
